The challenge: too much of a good thing
Our client had just moved into a beautiful new office with large windows and plenty of natural light. It was a dream until summer arrived.
The open, sunny workspace quickly turned into a heat trap. Employees were squinting through meetings, struggling with screen glare, and overheating at their desks. It was a bit much, the heat and strong sunlight started to get in the way of everyday work.
Our solution: light curtains with a smart twist
Instead of blocking the light entirely, we proposed installing lightweight curtains with a special reflective coating. These curtains:
- Filter strong sunlight without darkening the room
- Reduce heat buildup and screen glare
- Maintain visual openness, keeping the space airy and inviting
We installed them in key areas: the meeting rooms, main work zones, and a few individual offices. The result? Instant improvement in comfort and usability, and a cosy new look that really warmed up the space. The team loved it right away.
